Oral Health Exams:  Every new patient  receives a comprehensive examination and a precise assessment of his or her oral health.  Dr. Horner will discuss your needs, answer your questions, advise you of options, and make his recommendations for treatment.  Intra-oral cameras are available when indicated for even more in-depth analysis and better results.  Multimedia presentations are available for every patient to view and understand the treatment they need.  Consider it viewing your cosmetic makeover...before you begin.

Dental Implants:  Do you wish you could start over? Dental implants are like a second chance at having natural teeth.  These durable tooth replacements allow you to close the gaps from missing teeth, or anchor custom-fit dentures and partials for unsurpassed stability and comfort.   Dr. Horner is uniquely qualified and experienced to provide you implant dentistry at fair and competitive prices.  In 1995, he spent additional time completing the preceptorship program in implant dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX.  Dr. Horner takes great pride in providing you with the fine craftmanship and attention to detail that each of our patients have come to trust. 

Crowns and Bridges:  There are many techniques and materials for fabricating crowns and bridges. Their beauty and longevity depend upon choosing the best techniques and using the finest craftsmanship.  Dr. Horner is up-to-date on all the latest materials and techniques and can recommend the particular type that will best suit your needs for strength, health, and incredibly natural-looking results.  Our latest technology allows us to prepare and place Cerec crowns and veneers in one visit.

Zoom II Teeth Whitening:  Whitening the color of your teeth has long been a favorite procedure in the dental office. These days, the option of fast in-office Zoom II teeth whitening has become a popular option. Our office offers the one visit procedure designed to give you fast introduction to whiter, brighter teeth. We also provide you with a take-home kit and custom trays, so you can continue whitening your teeth for years to come, free of charge. Our take-home option for whitening your teeth is also availabe as an alternative, so you can whiten your teeth as your schedule permits.

Dentures and Partials:  Dr. Horner's goal is to make beautiful reconstructions and comfortable-fitting dentures and partials.  In the case of any denture or partial, you will always have the opportunity to give your input on the the look of your selected teeth by viewing them before finalizing the work.  Always keep in mind...these days both dentures and partials can be supported with implants or precision attachments.  Implants can be used for stability as your denture snaps onto them for support.  Precision clasps use your existing teeth to place attachments that your denture snaps onto.  Partial dentures can also be made with Valplast clasps, a flexible acrylic that removes the unsightly metals clasps on the outside of teeth.

Root Canals:  There are times when the only way to save a tooth is by performing a root canal procedure....think of it as a deeper filling.  In most cases, a root canal is necessary because of three reasons. (1) There is deep decay in the tooth (2) there has been trauma to the tooth and/or there is an infection , or (3) the tooth has become sensitive to hot and/or cold due to various reasons.  A root canal is almost always followed by a rebuilding of the tooth and a crown restoration to return the tooth to function.

Ultrasonic Cleaning:  We can perform even the most difficult cleanings thoroughly and comfortably using ultrasonic instruments. This gentle vibration, called cavitation, removes heavy deposits allowing us to reduce the need for scraping.  You'll enjoy the nurturing care of regular professional cleanings.  They enhance the health of your teeth and gums, and you'll feel better with your mouth and breath as fresh as they can be.

Periodontal (Gum) Treatment:  The gum and bone tissue are the foundation for a healthy smile.  We offer the latest treatments to stop the damage caused by periodontal disease-the nations leading cause of adult tooth loss. These include soft tissue management and deep scalings, new pharmaceuticals and new tissue regenerative procedures, and if needed, periodontal surgeries by Dr. Horner to bring your gums back to health. Cosmetic periodontal surgery using laser or traditional methods can even improve the appearance of your smile.

Oral Conscious Sedation Dentistry:  Nervous about undergoing dental treatment? You can relax; we offer the simplest method yet for sedation. Dr. Horner  can provide limited conscious sedation with various oral medications and/or nitrous oxide.
